These beautiful Buddhist prayer wheels come from a Monastery in Nepal. The Tibetan Buddhist monks carve and paint these prayer wheels by hand. Every purchase of a prayer wheel helps to pay for the living expenses, education fees and medical costs of the monks, and funds the day-to-day running of the monastery. Your purchase not only helps fund Free Tibet, but helps to keep these beautiful monastic traditions alive.
These beautiful prayer wheels sit perfectly on a desktop, and contain a small paper roll with mantras written in Tibetan script which can be spun around. In Buddhism, prayer wheels are used to accumulate wisdom and merit (good karma) and to purify negativities (bad karma).
