A Beautiful Story make stunning handmade jewellery sourced from Beads for Life, a fair trade initiative based in Nepal.

Beads for Life was founded by Nimdiki Sherpa and offers work to women in difficult economic situations. Nimdiki, coming from a moderately wealthy family and fortunate enough to receive schooling, saw that not all women in Nepali society were able to receive an education as she did. She felt a real drive to make a difference, so began Beads for Life.

Many of the employees were born into poor families and some have also lost their husbands. The Beads for Life project, assisted by A Beautiful Story, enables these women to earn their own money and give their children the schooling they never had.
