Sonam Anjatsang

Sonam is a Tibetan based in the United Kingdom and has been a friend of Free Tibet for a number of years. He is the director of the Little Tibet films and designer of the ever-popular Tibetan football jacket.

His films include Little Tibet I & II, which see Sonam searching for Tibetan culture and traditions in India and Nepal; Drensol ('Memory' in Tibetan) which documents the experiences of elderly Tibetans in exile and provides an account of Tibet at the begnning of the occupation; and A Mother's Son, which is about the self-immolation of 16-year old Dorjee Tsering.
